We all know how amazing we feel after a massage. It's a great way to ease stress, address areas of tension or pain, and restore balance in the body but time and money mean that for many of us, it's an occasional treat rather than a regular occurrence. Wouldn't it be great to have access to some of the relief and release of a massage at home, in your own time, for free?
Join me to journey around the body using simple self-massage techniques and massage balls. We'll learn myofascial release techniques to ease tension and restore balance throughout the body, addressing areas of common tension from the feet all the way up to the forehead - journeying up through the legs, hips, shoulders and neck.
This practice can be a really practical way to address tension, but can also provide a deeper experience of internal sensation and so supports mindfulness of the body. Along the way we'll discover some of the surprising connections in the body, develop greater connection to our bodies from the inside, and finish with a full guided relaxation to integrate and enjoy new sensations of release and ease.
Cost for this 90 minute workshop includes two simple massage balls to take away and use at home. Bring a note book and pen, and you might want to bring a camera to remember some of those hard-to-describe-in-words discoveries that you make!
